In July, the national average for a gallon of gas hit $4.11.

When Democrat Melissa Bean took office in January of 2005 gas averaged $1.89. The price of gas has more than doubled since she took office.

When Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats took control of Congress in January of 2007 they promised to lower gas by implementing their “common-sense plan”. Since then gas prices have risen over 75%--the highest oil price increase in history.

We can no longer afford to jeopardize our way of life and our children’s futures with two more years of Democrat Melissa Bean’s failed leadership. As your next Congressman Steve Greenberg will work to bring about real common-sense solutions to our energy crisis and work towards energy independence to reduce the stranglehold foreign dictators have over our energy supply.

Steve Greenberg strongly advocates producing additional American-made energy to increase supply and lower gas prices. He also believes we need to build additional nuclear power plants and develop environmentally safe alternative fuels. To read Steve's entire 8-Point Plan, click here.
